The Glass Steel TMS Dispatch Console is a single point of reference for all orders in the system, helping dispatchers and salespeople work together to determine which orders are actually ready to be shipped. In a fast-paced environment, it’s not uncommon to have the wrong date or ship to: address on an order, whether due to a customer change or an internal mistake. Using the Dispatch Console, dispatchers simply draw their shipping region on a map and select a date range and the Dispatch Console automatically populates with orders in real-time. Dispatchers can adjust dates, designate orders for will call, common carrier, or “owned” trucks, and send orders to a pre-pull list to help the warehouse stay ahead of the day’s work.
The Glass Delivery Manager allows salespeople and dispatchers to track and manage trucks as they deliver to customers in real-time. By integrating with on-board GPS data providers, the Delivery Manager can track trucks to the inch. With a click of a button, users know where and when material delivered, what stops are on what trucks, when trucks left the warehouse, and when they are expected to arrive in customers’ yards. Additionally, the Glass TMS Delivery Manager captures proofs of delivery as well as driver time, mileage, and stops for future auditing via the Glass Driver Payroll module.
Schedule Manager displays inbound and outbound loads on an order-by-order, line item-by-line item, bay-by-bay basis. Loads can be re-prioritized on the fly, automatically adjusting warehouse schedules so workers can self-manage and flow to areas of the warehouse where demand is greatest. Synched to legacy ERPs, the schedule manager is a great place to track down heat numbers, test reports, and find loading status for salespeople, dispatchers, managers, and warehouse personnel alike.
